SUMMARY:Dad's in the Hood
DESCRIPTION:Spring is here and that means one of the most fun neighborhood events is just around the corner.  This year Dads in the Riverplace Hood will be on April 14/15.  Yes, I know “tax day” is depressing, but this is a sure way to break out of the depression.  For those of you new to the event, we will have events starting at 3:30pm, we will feed you dinner, and then most folks spend the night with their kids in tents. We do all this at Sun Tree Park.   Most kids age 4-12 really enjoy our entertainment, and dads get an opportunity to meet other dads as well as have fun with their kids.  We will also see a few moms and grandpas and that is okay.  The event wraps up the next morning with donuts, coffee, and usually tacos.      If this is your first time – you know how fun it is so pleeeese register early.  It will save you money and allow us to plan events based on attendance.  The cost is really reasonable for the food and entertainment you receive, and your HOA dues pay for part of this event. Registration begins March 23 and late registration starts April 7th.  Walk up registration is accepted but will cost extra cash!     Hope to see you there.  If you have any questions, special requests, etc, please contact me or my main helpers Elaine Bussy and Carrie Locke.
